It’s happened to all of us. We’re driving home, and solely based on our seated positions, the poo-switch activates. For the hero of John DiMarco’s comedic short Oh No, this starts a series of unfortunate events. One would think an intense bowel-evacuation session would be enough for John (John DiMarco), but things get worse.
“He gets locked out of his house while getting the mail…”
He gets locked out of his house while getting the mail, and his wife isn’t home and won’t be for several hours. Thank God for Google Home. Now, he can reach his friend, George (George Elias), to bring him a spare key. As easy as that seems, it does involve John screaming through the window. Can George finally get back into the house? Well, this is a comedy.
I’ll start by stating what Oh No is. It’s an ultra-low-budget short film that is a comedy sketch. DiMarco gives a good performance about a guy who locks himself out of the house and brings a great deal of tempered frustration to the role. While not a groundbreaking masterpiece of comedic genius, Oh No is a fun watch.
