The big screen adaptation of “Speed Racer” has been rumored for so long, we’re not sure we can believe anything anymore. Yet we’d be remiss if we didn’t drop the note on a rumored version of the cartoon that will be written and directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski. No one will confirm or deny anything and there was also “no comment” from actor Vince Vaughn’s rep as Vaughn had previously sold his pitch for the film to Warners. A Wachowski’s “Speed Racer” would be pretty good. Prett-y, prett-y good.
