[ Fox Searchlight Pictures ] did the dirty deed — they’ve acquired the worldwide rights for the [ Broken Lizard ] feature “Super Troopers,” and it’s the very first sale at Sundance for 2001.
“Super Troopers” is about “five Vermont State Troopers stationed on the Canadian border who spend their time toying with speeders and sparring with their rivals: the shifty local police force.”
