After much controversy, speculation and adulation, Michael Winterbottom’s film “The Road to Guantanamo” will be making it’s way to American theaters. Indie distributor Roadside Attractions has bought the North American distribution rights to the docudrama about three Brits who traveled to a wedding in Pakistan and ended up being held as terrorists by the U.S. for two years. Sheesh, talk about your lousy weddings. The film should be hitting American shores this summer and look for a sequel to star Jack Lemmon and Bing Crosby entitled, “The Road to Afghanistan.”
