WHEN FILMMAKERS GET PISSED

By Film Threat Staff | July 19, 2002

With film in hand, AngryFilmmaker Kelley Baker will travel to Seattle to screen his feature “Birddog”, as well as conduct a workshop called “Guerrilla Marketing and Self Distribution of your Film” and to generally talk s**t about Hollywood.

“Birddog” follows Harv Beckman, who, while struggling to save his father’s used car lot, uncovers a shocking conspiracy concerning Portland’s flood disaster of 1948, which completely wiped out the city of Vanport. Through his series of discoveries, Harv reveals a hidden past of racism and segregation within the City of Roses.

“Birddog” will screen on July 26-28 at the Little Theatre in Seattle. The film will be showing nightly at 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. and director Kelley Baker will be available for questions after the Friday and Saturday screenings. The workshop will also take place at the Little Theatre on Saturday, July 27th, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The Little Theatre in Seattle can be reached at 206-675-2055.
