You may not think the the plight of union representation for Los Angeles janitors would make riveting cinematic fodder, let alone hold any appeal for a Brit director, but Ken Loach’s “Bread and Roses” takes this unique premise on. The film, an official entry at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, will also open the 6th Annual Temecula Film Festival on September 14th.
“Bread and Roses” stars Mexican actress Pilar Padilla, as well as indie star Adrian Brody of “The Thid Red Line” and “The Summer of Sam”.
The film is one of seven premieres slated for the Temecula Festival. For more information, check out [ the Temecula Fest site. ]
