Forget Comic-Con, just read the trades: Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Malin Akerman have been cast in Zack Snyder’s cinema adaptation of the popular “Watchmen” graphic novel. So who plays what? Haley will play Rorschach, Akerman is Laurie Juspeczyk/the Silk Spectre, Goode is Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, Wilson is Nite Owl, Billy Crudup is Dr. Manhattan and, finally, Morgan will be the Comedian.
This casting news was expected to be unveiled at Comic-Con as opposed to simply the day of Comic-Con, but perhaps San Diego will deliver some pics of the cast in costume? Hmmmm…
