The Little Guy (Shane Ryan) takes on two big guys (Jeremy Williams and Gutter Mutt). Fists fly. Kicks are thrown. There is an outcome. End of show.
This two-minute short doesn’t claim to be anything more than a fight between three guys, and it delivers, but that’s all there is to it.
It’s amusing to watch, and the end was kind of unexpected (I thought the exact opposite would happen), so it has that going for it. It doesn’t satisfy, though, because it doesn’t strive to be anything more than its basic concept.
Shane Ryan is proving to be a versatile director and writer. He is talented, and I love that he delves into different kinds of movies.
Unfortunately, not all of them work, though I do appreciate the effort.
