Platinum Studios and Blue Star Pictures have signed the Pang Brothers to direct an adaptation of the comic book “The Darkness.” You may remember Danny and Oxide Pang as the twins who directed “Bangkok Dangerous” and “The Eye.” The duo recently wrapped production on “The Messengers” which stars Dylan McDermott, John Corbett and Penelope Ann Miller.
It was also announced that “The Darkness” is being made into a video game, and one of the only comic book related video games for the brand new Xbox 360 as well. So I guess if you’re a big fan of the comic and have an Xbox 360, the only time you’ll be leaving your house in the next 3 years will be to see the movie. Good luck with that.
