As a follow up to the successful series of MOVIES NOT AVAILABLE ON VIDEO in March, the American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre presents a monthly program of MOVIES NOT AVAILABLE ON VIDEO, showcasing hard-to-see films such as the realistic and tragic DUSTY AND SWEET MCGEE portraying junkies in the 70’s Los Angeles, screening on June 3rd with director Floyd Mutrux, actor Billy Gray, cinematographer/actor William Fraker and editor Richard A. Harris scheduled to appear in person for a post-screening discussion.
On July 27th is a screening of Robert Altman’s CALIFORNIA SPLIT, depicting the adventures of two indefatigable and compulsive gamblers in Las Vegas.
On August 16th, is Jack Cardiff’s SONS AND LOVERS, a superb film with unforgettable and touching characters, beautifully photographed in black and white. All guests are subject to their availability.
