THE 7TH ANNUAL LATINO FILM FESTIVAL HAS “NO SHAME”

By Film Threat Staff | September 22, 2003

The 7th Annual Latino Film Festival will open for the first four days of the 2003 event at the Castro Theater. The Festival plays at the historic Theater from November 6-9 before moving to nine other venues in the Bay Area.
The opening night film is the US premiere of “No Shame” by Joaquin Oristrell. The film is about drama students who fall in love and compete for the few paying roles available to them. Their teacher finds a screenplay by her former lover that resembles their brief, intense affair. Now a successful film director, he is looking for fresh faces and asks to audition her students. In this process, of making the film, actors clash and behave either like spoiled brats, or team players–in short, as real life actors.
