There’s plenty of news in “Spider-Man” land as the movie’s official debut date on Friday, May 3rd, 2002 crawls closer and closer. Toy Biz is launching “Spider-Man” action figures in three assortments. The line will include all of the main “Spider-Man” characters, plus cool variants like Transforming Wrestler Spider-Man and Battle-Ravaged Green Goblin, both of which will hit shelves in August of 2002.
Want to attend the World Premiere of “Spider-Man” in Los Angeles? The first 300 fans to show up at the Mann Village Theater in in Westwood on Monday, April 29th, 2002 at 2PM (but not before) will receive a FREE “Spider-Man” t-shirt and a special raffle ticket. 50 lucky winners will get to catch the premiere the same day. That’s right — you could be seeing the movie with Tobey, Kirsten and the gang days before anyone else. The Mann Village Theater is located at 961 Broxton Avenue, Westwood Village, Los Angeles.
