SPEND WEDNESDAY WITH BILL PLYMPTON’S “IDIOTS AND ANGELS” AT IFC CENTER

By Mark Bell | October 4, 2010

Academy Award-nominated animator Bill Plympton begins the theatrical release of his latest film, “Idiots and Angels,” this Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the IFC Center in New York City. Screenings of “Idiots and Angels” will be preceded by Plympton’s new, multi-award winning short film, “The Cow Who Wanted to Be a Hamburger.” Plympton will also make personal appearances at evening screenings (TBA).

“Idiots and Angels” tells the tale of “a selfish and morally bankrupt man” who wakes up one day to find that wings are started to grow out of his back. If the embarrassment of having wings isn’t enough, things get worse when the wings start forcing the man to do good things for those around him…

“Idiots and Angels” begins its run at the IFC Center, and will later expand to the Sunset 5 in Los Angeles on October 29, 2010 before it expands to other cities across the United States.
