Things wrap up fast around here. With the banners coming down, the walls largely stripped of promo flyers, good-byes abounding, and Main Street being returned to the natives and the skiers, it was clear today that the curtain is descending on Park City Madness for another year. But not before a boisterous crowd packed into Cisero’s to hear Dwight Yoakum perform at the Slamdance 2000 Closing Night Party and Awards Ceremony last night where the festival winners were announced. Slamdance wound up this year’s edition of the festival with a series of “Best Of Fest” films, featuring most of the following selections. Here, then, are the Slamdance 2000 Festival Award Winners:
