After months of hemming and hawing, director Peter Bogdanovich says a deal with Showtime to show Orson Welles’s long lost final film “The Other Side of the Wind” is “99.9%” going to happen. The film has long been rumored to be coming out one way or the other, but sticky legal situations have made it impossible so far. The film also stars Bogdanovich as well as late great John Huston.
Although we can’t wait to see the film, one must wonder why it’s coming to Showtime and not a bigger cable channel. Or even the big screen.
