As if the “Festival Hot Air Balloon Experience” at the 2002 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival wasn’t enough, another bag of hot air is blowing in to join the festivities – the one and only William Shatner.
At the festival, which runs from September 18-22, Shatner will be awarded the 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Screening at the festival will be his new film “Groom Lake”. Shatner describes it as “basically a love story, but with a science fiction twist.” You mean like “Starman”?
“Groom Lake” stars Dan Gauthier (“Excessive Force II”, “Son in Law”), Amy Acker (“Angel” TV series), Dick Van Patten (hey, we all know who this guy is) and Tom Towles (“Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer”).
