ROADANCE GETS A BREAK

By Film Threat Staff | December 29, 2003

Park City officials have cancelled two sections of 9-2-4 of their municipal code in order to avoid a lawsuit filed by SHARK, an animal rights group who, like ROADance, has had their mobile video truck banned from operating on the streets of Park City in the past. This move was in their best interests as similar lawsuits have been filed in other parts of Utah, many of them being successful.
However, Park City officials reserve the right to pass other laws stopping ROADance from taking to the streets this January. So will they? Or will Dino’s ROADance finally get the break it deserves and enjoy a full 10-day run? We shall wait and see.
For more info on the festival, visit the ROADance website.
