While there isn’t a whole lot of news out on this story, the long and short of it is, Warner Brothers are looking to do a new live action Tarzan movie, and they want Guillermo del Toro to direct it. We can see why they want to do one, what with the rousing success of Christopher Lambert’s “Legend of Greystoke” and Bo Derek’s “Tarzan the Ape Man.” Screenwriter John Collee, hot off hits “Master and Commander” and “Happy Feet” has been hired to write the film and del Toro has some interesting things to say about the film.
