IT’S A PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST IN NEW YORK

PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST, the Rock and Roll, slasher/zombie comedy film produced on the 2003 Vans Warped Tour will have its NYC Premiere on Friday, November 5th at 7:00pm at the Pioneer Theater (155 East 3rd Street at Ave. A, New York, NY 10009). Director Doug Sakmann will be on hand to introduce the film and afterwards, everyone is invited to the killer premiere party with music from select bands from the film, as well as contests, giveaways and more!
PUNK ROCK HOLOCAUST follows Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman as he tries to maintain the nation’s biggest touring rock festival amidst a string of gristly murders, all the while keeping the evil record executive Belial (Played by Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman) at bay. Meanwhile, tour reporter Heather Vantress is trying to figure out who is behind the heinous crimes as the Warped Tour crew and bands (all played by themselves) are struggling to survive and stay on the road.
Featured bands include Atmosphere, Andrew WK, Beret, Big D and the Kids Table, Bowling For Soup, Destruction Made Simple, Dropkick Murphys, Face To Face, Glassjaw, Horrorpops, The Kids Of Widney High, Less Than Jake, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, MEST, Never Heard Of It, Pennywise, The Phenomenauts, Rancid, Simple Plan, Suicide Machines, Treephort, Tsunami Bomb, The Used, Vendetta Red and much more!
It’s said that Punk Rock Holocaust features the highest on-screen body count in slasher film history with entire crowds being massacred in addition to the deaths of over 110 band members!

The film is set for release on DVD November 23rd in stores nationwide on RED Distribution and Springman Records. The DVD features over 3 and ½ hours packed with tons of bonus material including 14 music videos and 12 Easter Eggs!
