Tonight, July 25th, GenArt in New York will present today’s hottest emerging indie filmmakers and visual artists all in the 20,000 sq. ft. Puck Building with their event IGNITE. IGNITE will feature three exciting environments:
The Screening Room will feature 12 high-energy short indie films followed by the erotic dark fantasy “Heavy Metal” at 10pm (featuring music by Black Sabbath, Cheap Trick, Devo, Journey and more) all taking place in a state-of-the-art screening room filled with funky couches and sofas courtesy of Nicoletti.
The Art Room will feature an exhibition of 15 of today’s best emerging visual artists working in a variety of mediums curated by Sebastien Agneessens of The Point and Andrew Milmoe.
In the main Party Room, DJ Chris Landry will be spinning the songs that have made his Friday night John Street parties the hottest night in NYC along with a variety of live performances. Sounds like quite the audio/visual feast.
