After “Blade II,” I don’t think anyone doubted Guillermo Del Toro’s ability to successfully bring dark comic book material to the big screen. So when word came down the geekvine that Del Toro would be directing the cinematic adaptation of Hellboy, fans rejoiced.
Further rejoicing came after the announcement that Del Toro’s one and only choice for the title role, Ron Perlman, was secured. And now, here is the first look at Perlman as Hellboy. Enjoy and we’ll see you at the theaters summer 2004!
