June continues…
“The Happening”
M. Night Shyamalan’s latest is set to bow on Friday the 13th and is expected to be creepy with a twist.
“The Incredible Hulk”
See, the trick is to not get him angry. Consider this the re-boot of the Ang Lee re-boot from a bunch of years ago, only now we’ve got Ed Norton instead of Eric Bana. If this film sucks, expect its Tony Stark cameo to do nothing but entice people to go see “Iron Man” again.
“Get Smart”
Steve Carell is funny, but it’s starting to seem as if he’s only capable nowadays of awkward conversation and random shouting. Hopefully this re-invention of classic TV is hilarious; worst case, boys get to stare at Anne Hathaway.
“The Love Guru”
Mike Myers is back this Summer, bringing with him a new character to entertain and possibly be-fuddle. Honestly, I don’t know what to think about this one, but at some point during “Wayne’s World” or “So I Married an Axe Murderer,” Mike Myers seduced me into seeing all of his films at least once so… I’ll be there.
“Wall-E”
I used to think that Pixar couldn’t miss, but then I saw “Cars.” Still, this one looks really cute so I’ll be there just like everyone else.
“Wanted”
This movie is going to be bad-a*s regardless of whether it makes sense, because the guy with the almost unpronounceable name (Timur Bekmambetov) behind the “Night Watch” series directed this.
