The official line-up for the second EYEBALL Music Video Showcase in Athens, GA. has been established. The EYEBALL MVS kicks off the AthFest Music & Arts Festival at The World Famous 40 Watt Club on June 22nd, 2000. 53 music videos were submitted to this years event, coming in from as far away as Vienna, Austria & Tel Aviv, Israel. Of the 53 videos submitted, 22 will be shown “in competition” and 8 have been selected for special “out-of-competition” screenings during EYEBALL.
The following is a list of artists who are represented at EYEBALL 2000:
James Kochalka Superstar, Jamco, Spatula, 5 More Dead, Max Weintraub, Lee Nestor, Zeek Scheck, The Horsies, Funhouz, Lambchop, Jucifer, Piz Da Family, Jon Todd, Undercover S.K.A., Jute, Quasar Wut-Wut, Ming & FS vs. J-Rocc, The Noisettes, Freak Garden Accident, The Olivia Tremor Control, and Macca.
“Out-of-Competition” videos include: the “Best of EYEBALL 1999”, a local favorites sidebar including: Wunderkind, Sarah Morang as Brittany Spears, Members of The Damn Show performing “Necrophelia”, The Dictatortots, Flood City Shootout, Ova ‘N’ Unda, and Cookie D, and a short film by Robbie Stauder entitled “Recessions” for its marriage of both sight & sound.
