The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that Jason Mewes, best known as Jay of the calamitous duo, Jay and Silent Bob, is still missing (10 months now) according to friends and the authorities who have an axe to grind with the actor over his outstanding $50,000 bench warrant stemming from his being charged with possession of heroin two years ago.
Since pleading guilty to the charge and being placed on probation, Mewes has not only skipped out on meetings with his probation officer, but has vanished from sight completely. Close friends of Mewes predict that he’s either hiding out overseas or dead.
We like to think he’s hanging out in front of a convenience store somewhere, harassing the locals.
