Bring out your brains! The 9th Annual Brainwash Movie Festival is taking over Northern California and your head will never be the same.
The Brainwash kick-off party with “Ask Dr. Hal” takes place on Wednesday, July 9th, 9:00 p.m. with comic book artist Hal Robins in person at the Odeon, 3223 Mission & Valencia (south of Cesar Chavez), San Francisco. Admission is absolutely FREE!
Then there will be a debut theatrical showing of the new Brainwash Television Series Pilot Thursday, July 10th, at the Parkway Theater, 1834 Park Bl. at E.18th St., Oakland, CA, 9:15 p.m. Admission is $6. The all new Brainwash Television Pilot features scenes shot at the Parkway at last year’s show along with a few more favorite movies, a few special new movies AND interviews with the moviemakers by Ed Holmes & Hel Robins.
The Brainwash Drive-In/Bike-In Movie Festival follows on Friday & Saturday, July 11th & 12th, in the Alliance for West Oakland Development Parking Lot, 1357 5th St. at Mandela Parkway, Oakland, CA; shows start at 9:00p.m. Sound broadcast into your car or Boom Box on FM stereo! Admission is $8 each night.
