“BETWEEN STRANGERS” PREMIERES AT THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

“Between Strangers”, starring screen legend Sophia Loren, will make its world premiere at The Toronto International Film Festival, which runs September 5-14.

Making his feature directorial debut, Edoardo Ponti’s film is about three women living in Toronto. Olivia (Loren) is stuck in a loveless marriage, while Catherine (Deborah Kara Unger) abandons her family to confront her mother’s killer and Natalie (Mira Sorvino) is in a power struggle with her photographer. ROWR.

Also making North American premieres at the festival will be Ken Loach’s “Sweet Sixteen”, Mike Leigh’s “All or Nothing” and Abbas Kiarostami’s “Ten.”
