Roxanne Michaels, the glamourous star of today’s most popular cult horror films, is coming to Syracuse to host the 2nd Annual B-Movie Film Festival, which will be held August 26-27 at The Westcott Theater and Planet 505.
Fans of alternative cinema know and love Roxanne Michaels for her stylish performances in the delightfully over-the-top films “Freakshow” (1995), “Vampire Call Girls” (1998), “Generation Ax” (1998), “Titanic 2000” (1999), “Hellblock 13” (1999) and “Chicboxin Underground” (1999).
In addition to her unique celebrity status within contemporary cult movies, the 27-year-old Roxanne also holds a Basic Russian Language Certificate from the prestigious Virtus Institute in Moscow–making her the only horror flick icon to boast bi-lingualism in English and Russian! Roxanne will preside over the Festival’s award ceremony and the announcement of this year’s inductees in the B-Movie Hall of Fame.
