Over 13,000 people attended this year’s Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival, August 21 to September 1. And these are the films deemed the best of the fest:
Best Feature Film: “TIPPING THE VELVET” – director, Geoffrey Sax
Best Documentary: “NO SECRET ANYMORE: The Times of Del Martin & Phyllis Lyon” – director, Joan E. Biren
Best Girl’s Short Film: “THE TEN RULES” – director, Lee Friedlander
Best Boy’s Short Film: “FOXHOLE” – director, Franko Galoso
