“All of our awards for feature films will be decided by our audience voting this year. We’re thrilled to give the audience a voice, and decide collectively, which films best deserve recognition,” said Lane Kneedler, Associate Director Programming at AFI FEST.

As in previous years, a jury will decide the Short Film Awards. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recognizes the AFI FEST Grand Jury Prize winners for Live Action Short Film and Animated Short Film, respectively, as qualifiers for the annual Academy Awards®.

All AFI FEST 2010 award winners will be announced on the last day of the festival, November 11.
