JJ Abrams dropped some new “Cloverfield” info at the Comic-Con, explaining that he has wanted to do a monster movie, was inspired by Godzilla when visiting Japan with his son, but that he felt we needed our own monster here in the US. He stated that filming is almost done, that there wasn’t a title yet (though asked the audience if they liked “Monstrous”) and he unveiled the new poster.
