While the Pandemic and its Chinese atrocities loom large over this production, there are nice and sweet moments throughout. One of the men has developed a loving relationship with a trans woman they named ‘Beatrice.’ Their scenes are very touching, even the sex scene, surprisingly enough. Even with this delightful set of scenes, reality crashes in hard. There was another woman – a ‘Katy’ – who was meant to play Beatrice. She spent the entire production shoot behind bars in prison for criticizing the Pandemic safety measures.
I know this film is meant to be a ‘drama.’ However, all the excesses of the state and the quiet desperation exhibited by all the people stuck under the thumb of the unfeeling disease dictators of the CCP give the film a documentary’s sense of verisimilitude. This resonates so hard with the crap that was happening everywhere else. The obscene 6″ rule, the mask mandates, the pushing of an alleged vaccine, which has turned out to be a bio-weapon. It’s all so very real and horrible. The Damnpanic catharsis is strong with Naked Nations – Tribe Hong Kong.
“…loaded to the brim with naked bodies and long, languorous sex scenes…”
There even exists in this film a scene where a famous actor -who’s name has been anonymized – is stuck in hotel quarantine for having had a business trip to Singapore. His experience is both dull and painful. As a race, we are well suited to combat diseases of the respiratory system. For example, I remain “unvaccinated” against this Covid and defeated a case I contracted in the first month of the Pandemic with no issue.
Naked Nations – Tribe Hong Kong is Scud’s final film. While he will be working on releasing two prior films that never got a chance, this is the last story he will craft on film. For that reason alone, I encourage you – gentle reader – to give it a shot. While it is loaded to the brim with naked bodies and long, languorous sex scenes, Scud’s film is a fitting reminder for all mature viewers of the cruelty our governments are willing to inflict upon us. We must never allow any government, let alone the CCP, to exact this crap ever again. Please check out this deeply humane film. It’s truly a towering work of art.
