Do you feel that? That feeling is okay to ask questions about one of the darkest times in human history: the COVID pandemic. Sure, all the questions you have still fall squarely in the conspiracy theory category—according to the government and news media, but today, I feel like you can share your thoughts publicly. Vanessa Dylyn’s COVID Collateral documentary is a great way to start an important conversation.
I know it’s not fun to rehash the events of five years ago, and COVID Collateral walks us through the history of the worldwide pandemic. The film first questions the effectiveness of lockdowns, which impacted every American and person worldwide. The obvious one is whether lockdowns were the best way to handle the problem, considering we’ve had deadly viruses ravaging the world in the past, and somehow, humanity survived those without the aid of modern science. Dylyn then questions the early statistic of 3.4% of the population dying from the outset. Where did this stat come from, and how did no one question it…or did they?
“…questions the effectiveness of lockdowns, which impacted every American and person worldwide.”
We then move to the world of global politics. Fear of massive death moved leaders to embrace the World Health Organization (WHO) and lockdowns. Fear was the tactic to control our leaders because no one wanted to be the ruler who oversaw massive piles of dead citizens. With leaders in fear, certain ‘scientists’ could now dictate policy. What happened to all our intubators? Why did 90% of patients who went on these treatments die?
Then began the smear campaign. Remember Ivermectin? Why did the media go on a smear campaign calling the 2015 Nobel Prize-winning drug calling it horse de-worming medicine? What if Ivermectin worked? One expert in the film said it would have rendered the COVID-19 vaccine development completely moot.
The film then explores the censorship of so-called ‘misinformation.’ Soon, scientists started going public, asking questions, and challenging the scientific method of the WHO and other prominent government agencies. These scientists were soon vilified for their “dangerous” rhetoric, fired from their jobs, and banned on social media and YouTube. Thanks to the Twitter files, the public discovered that the U.S. Government paid social media companies to flag, ban, and suppress accounts that went against the government narrative.
"…What if Ivermectin worked?"
