Four years into their own engagement Malory (Lauren Lapkus) and Caleb (Nick Rutherford) are off to visit Malory’s parents for their 25th wedding vow renewal. They learn that her parents have been enjoying threesomes to spice up their marriage. The young couple decide to get re-engaged and celebrate with their own unicorn experience. They are unprepared for what the addition of a third might reveal about their own relationship in Robert Schwartzman’s The Unicorn.
With an aim towards illuminating the threesome lifestyle and showcasing the film to a specialized audience, the producers of The Unicorn have partnered with leading threesome dating app 3Somer for the film’s SXSW world premiere. 3Somer will host ad banners for The Unicorn, link to the film’s website, and cast members from the film are appearing on the app to interact with the community members. The app is also free to users in the Austin area for a limited time.
