Marty Sader’s MOST HIGH took home the prestigious Vision Award at Chicago’s Indiefest, July 30th – August 8th. The fest also awarded the film with Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for Marty Sader, as well as The Sundance Audience Choice Award.
MOST HIGH is an emotional journey through the eyes of a young man (Marty Sader) in crisis. Set against the backdrop of crystal meth addiction, MOST HIGH examines cause rather than effect. Drugs are incidental. MOST HIGH is the first film in the history of the medium in which the writer/director, who is also the lead actor, has put himself through a physical transformation of this magnitude: a body weight fluctuation of more than 200 pounds during the course of filming. The film was directed by and stars Marty Sader, written by Laura Keys and Marty Sader, executive produced by Jimmy Evangelatos, George Gallo, Laura Keys, Julie Lott Gallo, and produced by Kenyon Robertson. The film also stars Laura Keys and Kenyon Robertson.
