The Foundation for the Augment of African-Americans in Film (FAAAF) will host the inaugural Lakefront Film Festival in Columbia, Maryland with previews of 46 new indie films from July 26th to July 29th.
The showcase will include new independent multicultural narrative features, documentaries, animation, experimental, web-series, short films studio preview screenings and MasterClass panel discussions. During the festival cinema lovers will get a sneak preview of The Bookshop, A Boy, A Girl, A Dream, Black Cop and several other films that are scheduled to launch nationwide later this year.
Nestled in the picturesque backdrop of Columbia, the festival will take place at Horowitz Center for Visual and Performing Arts, Smith, Monteabaro, and Studio theatres, as well as the newly launched soundstage on the Columbia Lakefront, The Soundry.
