In September, Artsmagic will release what some call the goriest film of all time, Kazuyoshi Kumakiri’s “Kichiku Dai Enkai”.
1970s Japan – Aizawa, leader of a small left-wing political student group has been arrested. With him behind bars, the group is taken over by Masami, his girlfriend.
But when Aizawa commits suicide in jail, Masami’s tenuous grip on the group explodes in a blinding fury of paranoia and bloody violence.
The film will be released as a 2-disc DVD set, featuring a “making of”, footage of an awards cermemony and interviews with cast and crew.
