The 4th annual Vegas CineFest International Film Festival, running October 3-7, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV, will be held at Palms Casino Resort. From the official press release:
On October 3rd, The 4th annual Vegas CineFest (“VCF”) International Film Festival will kick off another year celebrating the arts in film and music. The festival will run between October 3rd through October 7th and will be held at Palms Casino Resort. This year, the festival will screen more than 100 films from around the world and will feature panels designed to educate independent fimmakers, and a film market with opportunities to sell to distributors and film brokers.
Festival founders and Executive Directors, Philip and Maria Marcus state, “We’re thrilled to host the 2012 Vegas CineFest Film Festival at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. We expect record participation this year, further solidifying Vegas Cinefest as the premier film festival in Las Vegas”
In 2011, VCF honored profilic director, John Landis (“Blues Brothers,” “Animal House”). This year’s honoree will be announced soon. Also present were members of Hollywood’s leading families Jamie Redford and Noah Hutton who screened their two shorts at the festival. Industry veteran Steven Rosen, the newly appointed Festival Director, will help oversee the four day event.
