Birmingham scrambles it up like none other. On Saturday Nov. 13 at the Alabama Theatre, Sidewalk presents 22 short films fueled by caffeine and competition, created by area filmmakers last weekend in under 48 hours for the third Sidewalk Scramble. Attendees can cast vote for the Audience Choice Award ($250), and see who the jury chooses for the coveted Best in Show award ($500) and Best Use of Inspiration Items award ($250). Jury members are Peter Gilbert (producer and director of photography of HOOP DREAMS), Alison Bagnall (director and co-writer of Sidewalk 2004 Special Feature Film Jury award winner, PIGGIE) and Eric Campos (yeah, yous guys know about me already).
