The acclaimed gay documentary “Webcam Boys” has been accepted to world premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival on Saturday, June 2, 9:30 pm. “Webcam Boys” is the controversial documentary chronicling the enormous popularity of voyeur cams throughout America, in particular a diverse group of young gay men who have had cameras installed in their homes to allow viewers to follow their daily lives. This compelling and often entertaining film follows ten men and the way that webcams have affected their lives, becoming a tool of expression for some, and a security blanket for others.
From pornstars to students, from blue collar workers to executives, the film captures real men in real situations that prove inspirational to everyone. The film is directed by Radd and produced by Four Guys Productions (Ant, Perry Dance, Bob Read, Jim Dobson) “Webcam Boys” introduces audiences to 10 different guys who operate web cams. Kip is a young surfer with an insatiable sexual appetite. Pierre, a native of Quebec, is preoccupied with body image and keeping in shape. Dad is an ex porn star who is working through some very personal issues. Zach is a young bisexual man with a pregnant girlfriend and ghosts that haunt him. Matt is a hustler who enjoys collecting mice and film memorabilia. Dino, an aging porn star, is struggling to build his career as a legitimate stage actor. Rick and Jeremy are a couple who moved in together after one of them left his girlfriend. Cody and Cory are beefy brothers who live together and carry on a sexual relationship while fighting drug addiction.
