The 4th Annual CineVegas International Film Festival will take place from June 7th through June 15th, 2002, at the Brenden Theatres inside the swank Palms Resort/Casino in Las Vegas.
CineVegas has announced their slate of Jackpot Premieres for 2002. These features are “primarily World and North American premieres of films, most with U.S. distribution in place, which provides a unique and spectacular presentation before they head into the marketplace.” The films include:
24 Hour Party People (North American Premiere) Directed by Michael Winterbottom. Starring Steve Coogan.
Bubba Ho-Tep (World Premiere) Directed by Don Coscarelli. Starring Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis.
Happy Here And Now (World Premiere) Directed By Michael Almereyda. Starring David Arquette, Ally Sheedy & Liane Balaban.
No News From God (North American Premiere) Directed by Agustin Diaz Yanes. Starring Penélope Cruz and Victoria Abril.
Poolhall Junkies (World Premiere) Directed by Mars Callahan.
Run Ronnie Run! (Closing Night) Directed by Troy Miller. Starring David Cross, Bob Odenkirk.
Skins Directed by Chris Eyre. Starring Graham Greene.
Spun (World Premiere) Directed by Jonas Ackerlund. Starring Jason Schwartzman, Mena Suvari, John Leguizamo, Eric Roberts, Brittney Murphy and Mickey Rourke, with music by Billy Corgan.
Sunshine State (World Premiere) Opening Night film directed by John Sayles. Starring Angela Bassett, Edie Falco, Timothy Hutton, Mary Steenburgen
Tadpole (Centerpiece Film) Directed by Gary Winick. Starring Sigourney Weaver, John Ritter and Bebe Neuwirth.
