I’m very glad that the film is not too exploitative of his relationship with Jenner, or of their daughter Stormi Webster. Kylie really doesn’t have that much screen time and honestly says about four lines in the entire thing. So, if you were hoping for some more fuel to your Kardashian fire, this is not the place to look. We are present for some ultrasounds and are in the hospital the day of his daughter’s birth, but believe me when I say it’s done in the most tasteful way possible, and chiefly shows Scott’s reactions to the events and what they mean for his life.

Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly is not some hard-hitting expose. It’s a celebratory film that shows Scott’s rise from Missouri City kid to Grammy Nominee. It also shows Scott in a realistic light, showing his sadness and insecurity over not winning the 2019 Grammys for which he was nominated. However, Scott is resilient, and that is something that each of us can learn from, for sure. I can’t leave without mentioning the actual Astroworld amusement park, for which his album is named after. We see footage of him at the amusement park as a child, and towards the end of the film, we discover that because of Scott’s enthusiasm for the park and the grandiosity of the Astroworld tour, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner is in talks of opening a new park.
Overall I would say that Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly is an incredibly wholesome, feel-good film that shows us that hard work and determination really can bring you grand success in some cases. It’s inspiring for those of us who want creative careers of our own, and it makes the goals seem all the more attainable when knowing a kid from Houston now drives a ridiculously expensive sports car and is married to one of the most famous women in the world. You’re happy for him, too, because he knows where he came from and doesn’t forget the people there. I wish him even more luck with his career, and hopefully, he’ll win the Grammy the next time he makes an album. Here’s hoping from me! You can watch the film on Netflix now!

this is the greatest fuckin movie ever. It really well done and watching him make each track for astroworld was like seeing Jesus punch Bill Cosby in the dick.
