"COLOR BLINDED" A TRUE INDEPENDENT

By Film Threat Staff | November 7, 2000

Mark Pirro’s truly independent “Color Blinded” centers on the story of a lovely black woman named Melanie and her relationship with her white boyfriend Dave. Just when things seem to be going smoothly, a friend of Melanie’s plants the idea in her head that interracial relationships don’t always work…and the next morning, Melanie awakens to find that, mysteriously, she’s turned white!
“Color Blinded” takes on the kind of issues that the Hollywood majority system finds a little too touchy, and with a little added something called a sense of humor. Creator Pirro is also responsible for the indie cult classics “A Polish Vampire in Burbank” and “Nudist Colony of the Dead”.
