The final film for Michael Parks, The Queen Of Hollywood Blvd, is in post-production and slated for release in 2017.
Parks, a popular character actor in the ’60’s had been recently featured in films by Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino following several decades of relative obscurity after being blackballed from the movie industry. Parks died May 9 in Los Angeles at age 77. Filmmaker Josh Roush shared this reminiscence with us about his time with Michael Parks while working on Kevin Smith’s film Tusk.
The as-yet unreleased film promises to be a pulpy ultra-violent romp through the underbelly of Hollywood.
