Anybody see it yet? I thought it was great. I wrote a review about it in comic-strip format that you can see by clicking here: SPLENDOR (http://www.snubdom.com/MPsplendor.htm)

Here's a drawing of one of my favorite sequences:

That's the most entertaining movie review I've read in a long time. Nice work!

nice review, rick!

the film is brilliant - spinning between so many layers of reality that it exposes everything that's so fake about hollywood movies seemingly without trying. of course that's what pekar has been trying to do all his life. i just wish i could get my movie-moron friends to go see it and realise what idiots they are for preferring glossy slick emptiness over this kind of creative, insightful filmmaking. but never mind...

I saw this last night as well. Very whimsical and innovative filming style; Pig Vomit created a hilarious character. I will say the movie was a bit slow moving and would love to have the pace stepped up a bit. Worth seeing though.

Heh... Pig Vomit.

Yeah, a sweet cancer movie. Kinda. Didn't really expect that.

Great comic review. :D
