Rocky Balboa: lonelier, retired, more beat down. (http://www.comingsoon.net/news.php?id=11523) Your thoughts?
Here's one: In previous interviews, Stallone has said that Talia Shire won't be back. Adrian's been dead for a number of years before this film starts.
And Mason "The Line" Dixon? What trash. How about Jules "The Believer" Winnfield?

Jesus Christ just give it up already. Stallone's career is over, just throw in the towel (pun not intended), The only good film of that franchise was the first one. The rest sucked.
Lonely boxer? I'm assuming Talia Shire won't come back so he's making him a single man? Well, it makes sense.

Ironic, that comment, since Stallone is also directing it.

I'm aware he's directing it, I stand by my comment. Does this movie really need to be made?

My fault then. Didn't get the entire gist.

It doesn't, but that's the way it goes in the place called Holly, which has a lot of Wood (dirty connotation included).

Sorry, that sounded rude. I apologize, I meant it more as a conversing manner. Sorry.

Why won't Stallone just accept his fate and assume his rightful place, playing a befuddled inarticulate alcoholic suburban dad in a short-lived sitcom on the WB called 'Punch Drunks.'
Speaking of comebacks...
Ah-Nold the Governator is rumoured to be considering going back before the cameras in TERMINATOR IV: CYBORG ON VIAGRA, and TRUE LIES 2: ELIZA DUSHKU'S GROWN UP REAL GOOD, to be directed by James (King of the World Who's Too Scared To Direct Feature Films Anymore) Cameron.
Probably a load of chimp-scat since none of Cameron's rumoured directing projects have come to fruition.

Arnold's political career is virtually over, so he's got to do something.

In a way I'm glad to see a familiar character return to screen but I don't think Stallone should direct it. There is talk of Roy Jones Jr. taking on the part of Mason Dixon the new heavyweight champ. I think maybe he should look in the way of Mike Tyson or LL Cool J. I think he should also have a director with some real good dramatic films under their belt to take on this one. Stallone is a good writer but not as good at directing (Staying Alive)for example.

Figures. Jones won't make the necessary changes to his style to compensate for his deteriorating skills so he wanders off to filmland to where he can pretend fight and not have to worry about getting his ass handed to him.

Wow. Guess that makes it Tarver with three wins over Jones now.
Wow. The poll says we are evenly tied between disgust and total apathy. Poor sly.

Adrian dead? Wow, how creative and terribly original.
The world needs another Rocky like it needs a hole in the environment. Since we have some of those already, I guess bring it on.
