Not sure if anyone is interested in seeing this, but I read an article by the guy who wrote the book this was based on and I quite enjoyed it. As well it's a Sam Mendes film, if you like his work.

this looks pretty good, lots of interesting visuals, which I remember from "Road to Perdition" fantastic cinematography. and of course American Beauty.

this movie looks like a very interesting take on war, kinda like "Three Kings" where it's just presented in sort of a dark comedic way, while still being able to take itself seriously. it looks to stand out from a lot of the recent war movies.

Can't go wrong with Sam Mendes. This guy is a great director and the movies he makes are obviously a perfect indicator of that. He's outstanding!
