Here's my list in no particular order. Some of them are a little hokey, but hey. I'm a chick. :p

Schindler's List
It's A Wonderful Life
The Pianist
When a Man Loves a Woman
Casablanca
Ghost
Steel Magnolias
The Color Purple
Passion of the Christ

Passion of the Christ

Far too hokey. The scene of Jesus' whipping really shows how maudlin Pontius Pilate's emotions sometimes were. :p ;)

I don't have a top ten in place right now, but Before Sunrise does it for me, though it's the ending, built up through all the other scenes, where ***spoiler...don't read if....ah, I don't give a crap***Celine hugs Jesse tightly. Just her look brings me to the floor.

There's this thread (http://www.filmthreat.com:8000/forums/showthread.php?t=1438) from long ago that may strike your interest too, or jog your memory of those films. Quite a varied discussion there and I look forward to another one here.

I have to admit that I did do a small search, but I didn't find anything. I probably wouldn't have resurrected that thread anyway because I post on another site similar to this one (not for movies though) and they yell at anyone who revives a thread that is even one month old. They're brutal over there.

Oh, well. Live and learn. ;)
