That's what separates us from the rest. We generate a little buzz in something not readily available, people then seek it, then perhaps, it'll blow up and be available to all.

Rory just directed me to this thread per a conversation we were having and I gotta say...

Why do people send out films with no press releases and no web presence?? If you think you're frustrated by hearing about a cool movie and then not knowing where to find it, think of how us reviewers feel??

We get a cool little flick and set to writing a review. Since there's no press kit, a google search ensues. Nothing comes up! Now what? Why bother to write the review since you don't care enough to PROMOTE YOURSELF. If you need reviews from sites and magazines, fine....but at least give us some background about yourself or your film.

Bloody brilliant. The sad part on top of that is, how much stuff have you gotten in your box that fits this description? Website really aren't that hard or expensive to make. What's the point of making something, if you do no promotion (besides sending it to FT) to get it out there?
