This one sounds like real fun. And, after the debate we just had on Irreversible, no way am I seeing this film. Just thought some of you might be interested, is all; friend of mine saw it at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and said the end rape scene was the worst thing he's ever seen on-screen.

perhaps not pretentious as unoriginal. of course he would be engaging in self-reflexivity over Marquis de Sade's collected works.

Now, if he were doing the same thing over a copy of Salo, then he'd at least be somewhat more original.
