Since watching Revolutions it has become increasingly unclear why the Wachowskis chose to end Reloaded with "To be concluded" opposed to the more traditional "To be continued". What got concluded? Neo is dead, Trinity is dead. Ok fair enough. Apparently, as in the other movies when a human who is unknowingly plugged into the matrix is taken over by an agent, or taken over by the Smith virus, they die. So why is it that THe Architect (sea urchin resembling machine) says he will free all the humans still plugged into the matrix when presumably, Smith took them all over then they all blew up!?! Is it just me or does a lot of this film have dead ends or contradict the other two movies?
The Merovingian, a.k.a The Frenchman. What is he all about in Revolutions. You see him, theres a lot of bother trying to get to him, he has a gun to his head after demanding the eyes of the oracle then he doesnt appear again. When he said in Reloaded that neo hadn't seen the last of him i thought he was gonna unleash some Hell on Neo's ass. But as far as i can tell he didn't see Neo again. Lying French bastard! Too busy servicing his amazingly sexy wife and fooling with The Lady in the Red Dress. Now that would have added a bit of excitement into the movie, Persephone and the Lady.... getting it on! After all, they are in an S&M club, he is French and who could keep their hands off Monica Bellucci?
Ok, back to the criticism....
Neo is a wuss in this film. End of story. He gets beat up by a train guy who was also in Ghost..no wait...they're just similair, just another Wachowski transvestite rip-off! He gets his ass totally whupped by Smith. Maybe thats cos the Oracle was in him and maybe she was getting a bit of revenge for Neo acting like a smart ass everytime he saw her, asking the same daft questions and criticising her all the time. Ok you know what, i'm fed-up criticising...i could go on for weeks, believe me!
Now for the praise. Um...hmm.....................oh i know!....presumably this is the last one right, well, no more disappointments! All together now...HOOOOORAAAAAAY!!!
